O excelente site Discopia colocou agora online mais um tratado de Greg Wilson. Trata-se de um excelente e completíssimo artigo sobre Boogie que não se limita a traçar a história do género, mas que vai mais longe até ao tentar esclarecer o próprio sentido da palavra boogie. Leitura obrigatória, claro. O artigo é ainda completado com uma importantíssima ferramenta na construção de uma discografia de boogie - uma lista de 50 títulos essenciais da autoria de Sean P que reproduzimos aqui em baixo, juntamente com o link para que leiam o artigo. Para os interessados no género deverá ser bom saber que alguns dos títulos desta lista são comuns em Portugal. O clássico de Jeanette "Lady Day", "Come On Let Me Love You" na Prelude, já se cruzou com o meu caminho uma dezena de vezes seguramente (e é um disco que eu compro sempre, não sei bem porquê). Fiquem por isso atentos porque esta lista não é assim tão inalcançável.
